About seal fur

The seal pelt is harvested humanely as part of a subsistence economy, a by-product of a traditional seal hunt provided by a Nunavut Inuk Hunter.  Seal pelt is commercially tanned and processed according to environmental standards in Canada. Sealskins have variations in colour, texture, thickness, may have scratches or scarring due to their natural origin, which adds to their beauty and individuality. Organic and biodegradable, sealskin is a beautiful, natural, sustainable luxury.
